News and a couple of cards!

I don't know why I am always late when it comes to announcing something good! :p

Well...the news is, I am on 'Sentimental Sundays' design team! Thanks a ton Calypso for the wonderful opportunity to work with such talented ladies! :)

My term starts from Jan- 2014 and I hope you all will join the fun! :)

I also want to share two cards I made recently. The snowflake stamps are from Fiskars. The penguin image stamp too id from Fiskars.

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing? busy making Christmas and New year projects?

I haven't been doing much these days. I have started  making a A4 size album LONG ago. My plan had been to present it to my hubby for our first wedding anniversary. Whoever knows me might have guessed already- I didn't finish it yet!! I'm hoping to finish it and present it for our second anniversary! Better late than never, right? :-p

I have a page from the album to share... I love this page! I'll share the rest of them soon, I hope!

I'm submitting this to Lulupu's 'Cook it up' challenge. (I have used embellishments, die-cuts and PP) and Simon says stamp monday challenge.

The chevrons are die cuts. Thanks Khush for sending, finally used them here! :)

I have done some stamping on the PP. The hexagons, doilies, ink splatters are stamped. The sentiment is stamped with alphabet stamps, colored. I then added some glossy accents to it.

The bird is fussy cut from Mambi paper stack and the sticker embellishments are from a scrapbook kit bought from Lulupu last year. I'm glad I had saved them.

I loved the colors in the inspiration picture.

 This is what I came up with. A birthday card. I big bold sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays stamp set and the smaller one is from IBS stamp set. Submitting this card to their Customer gallery contest.  http://joannamunster.com/customer-gallery/

I love the next card. The BG is stamped and then coloured all over with water colour pencils.  LOVE the effect!

All the stamps are from CAS-ual Fridays. The beautiful diecut leaf stem (or whatever! :p) is RAK from my buddy Pallavi. Thanks soooo much girl! :)

A very quick post to share few cards that I recently made.

The first card is for CAS-ual Fridays, Colour Conceptions (used 'faux artist technique)), DCAM challenges.

The next card is for  'CAS(E) this sketch!'.

The stripes are stamped. The sentiment is heat embossed in three colours.

Here is another card I made using the sketch. But I am not sure if this follows the sketch. So I'm not submitting...

a bit of sunshine and gold!

Hello everyone!

I have two cards to share.

As soon as I saw the sketch on 'CAS(E) this sketch!' I had to make a card right away! Here it is...

The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. The sun rays (yes they are!) are hand drawn and colored with distress inks using my Koi water brush.

The next card is for CASE study challenge. The team is honoring Cath the whole month. The inspiration picture is from one of the 'Oh my Moxie Fab' posts.

This is what I came up with. The BG is heat embossed in gold. The stamp I used is CAS-ual fridays 'Out loud' script stamp.The feathers are die cut and one of them is distressed with chipped sapphire ink and the other is misted with 'mist'tries. Sentiment is heat embossed too.

Two more cards to share today. Made them for 10 Min craft Dash # 30.

This is the card I decided to submit... Made this in 9 min 42 sec.

I made another card which is similar but not submitting it as there is a blending of inks... See it for yourself... made this in 9 min 3 sec.

Which card do you like more? I like the first one... :)

rainbows and butterflies!

Hey everyone!

Got some time to blog today. I have two cards to share.

Made this one for CAS-ual Fridays challenge (Create with 8).

I have used 8 colours in this card, stamped the sentiment 8 times and there are 8 tiny butterflies in 8 different colors! :)

The GORGEOUS script stamp is CAS-ual Fridays - 'Out loud' and the super fun sentiment is from 'Butterbows'.

The second card is for 'CAS(E) this sketch!' challenge. The fussy cutting isn't perfect but I love how this card turned out! I LOVE that sentiment! :)

A soaring eagle!

Two cards to share today.

I created a scene on the first one. Masked the CS with die cut clouds and inked. I LOVE the result. Though it's not perfect I still love it. I dabbed some grey ink to make the clouds look natural. I also absolutely LOVE the silhouette. Eagles are magnificent birds, they never fail to awe me!

Made this card for my hubby, he likes eagles too. :)

Here is another one. I made this one also for CAS-ual Fridays challenge.

I won't submit this as I feel something is definitely wrong with it! I think I don't like the PP strips at the top of the card or may be the black at the bottom of the panel. It might also be the colors. I never use so many colors on my cards, I used 8 colors here! This card to me, looks like a total disaster!:p But I did enjoy making this one...stamping, coloring and fussy cutting..I love those flowers...

stamped cards

A card to share after a long time! Actually, I have three cards. Will share two now.

The first one is for CAS-ual Fridays challenge and I'm in love with this gorgeous stamp set. I made the pattern with two inks. Love the bright colours!

Added embossing in the form of score lines. Hope they are visible.

The next one is for CASE(E) this Sketch!

This card was hard work! I love the pattern I managed to get though! I just want to give Michele a BIG hug for designing awesome stamp sets! LOVE CAS-ual Fridays!! :)

cards with trinket, stickers, charms,flowers and sequins!

Hi everyone...

A quick post with a couple of cards to share.

The first one has Bo bunny trinket (metal) and a bird sticker from Jolee's Boutique.

Entering Moxie Fab 'handmade-cards-week-metal-wood-cork' challenge. Also since the card has bird sticker on it, I'm entering Entering Moxie Fab 'handmade-cards-week-stickers-tape' challenge.

Second card features a beautiful Eiffel tower charm, sequins, enamel dots which are all read made embellishments.

Entering Moxie Fab ready-made embellishments challenge and as this one is a shaker card, entering  Addicted to CAS- the code word is 'transparent' .
