This used to be a....package of clear stamps!

hello friends!

Good morning!

I'm here with some recycling... Recycled a package of clear stamps that I received from Lulupu. Turned it into a photo frame! Personally I loved it... :) Colours are inspired from colour challenge at 'For the love of crafting'- Blue, green and white.

Here's the pic of the package...

I covered the package with washi tapes that I purchased from Lulupu. I received my parcel just yesterday. I had no intention of taking part in this month's challenge since I had lots of things to do...pretty busy these days... But I couldn't stop myself from experimenting with washi tapes... They are wonder tapes...I'm in love with them already... Look what they can do! :)

So, I'm sure there isn't any need for explanation! You can use this either as a small wall hanging photo frame or on a table!

Supplies used-
White CS- Local buy
Washi tapes- Lulupu
Flower stamp and sentiment- Lulupu
Die cut butterflies, flowers, buttons and pearls- my stash
Blue and green flowers (at the right corner of the frame)- Itsy bitsy

purple card...

Hi everyone!

How are you doing? I'm here with a purple card! Tried this kind of roses for the first time...thanks to Dr. Sonia for her tutorial! Mine are not really beautiful like her's. But tried my best :)

Here is the card..

Started with a my mind blank! wanted to use the doily and butterfly dies in the project... bought them recently from Priya's store. Coloured the doily with silver metallic paint... and the polka dots on the CS I tied the bow are done with silver glitter pen... I chose the colours purple, silver and green to play on 'For the love of crafting blog'... There is a bingo colour challenge going on...

Happy 50!!

Here is a card I made last night for my uncle. He's going to celebrate his 50th birthday in a couple of days...Since he will be out of station then, we decided to give it to him today...

Here it is...

It looks feminine...and to be honest, I am not really satisfied with this card. My mum liked it a lot though...she said she was impressed! It's REALLY hard to make her say it! She is super critic! :)
she she was the one who made that '50'

I hope my uncle likes it...And yeah...and yeah..my sister helped me making this one...she was the one who made that '50'...I hand cut it, coloured the borders..and stuck it on the card...

A metallic card...

Hi friends!

How are you all? It's been a week since I posted anything... Didn't do anything much... didn't feel like doing actually...guess I needed a break!

I'm here with a card I made last night... I had die cut the flowers first and then painted them with metallic shades of fabric paint and then gave them a crumpled look using a small forceps... got this idea from Hussena...She used this in a tutorial of hers. I'm so sorry I couldn't locate the exact post... I did search her blog and got side tracked for a while looking at her gorgeous creations!

Here's my card. Didn't at all like the glitter on it...Shouldn't have made that border with glitter. I wanted a subtle look on my card but lost it because of the glitter :(

This is a orange metallic card...

The shades are visible here...

So, do tell me what you feel about my card :)

White beauty!

Hello!

How is everyone doing? Want to share a card that I made last night (late into night!)...

I love white on white theme...BGC's theme this time is white on white... Made this card for the challenge...

Close up of the embossing...
I used a heart punch to make one border... Added pearl and silver glitter... I love the way the embossing looks on the card... You must check out embossing folders of Itsy Bitsy if you haven't already. There are lots of good designs there...

But I had one of the worst experiences last night... the glitter glue...its nozzle got blocked and when I tried to squeeze it a bit harder, the nozzle came off and well, you could very well imagine what must have happened! It took me more than half an hour to clean up all the mess, huh! Thank God nothing happened to my card.. :)

Supplies used-
White CS- Itsy Bitsy
Embossing folder, butterfly dies, heart punch- Itsy Bitsy
Glitters, buttons- local buy

Pls do leave your comments and suggestions as to how I could have done better.... It helps me in improving... :) Have a great day...
