rainbow kindness

Hi...

It's me again! I'm so sorry I'm going to spam your dashboard today! :D

The card here is for A Blog Named Hero Challenge. The theme is rainbow! I'm not good at using rainbow colors on my card but I tried. :)

For the background I used CAS-ual fridays stamp set and repeatedly stamped the vines. Colored them with Zig markers in rainbow colours. To make the sentiment stand out, heat embossed a sentiment from Hero Arts 'Acts of Kindness' stamp set. It's a gorgeous stamp set and I know I'm going to use it a lot.

I hope you like the card...

Have a nice day. :)

rainbow flowers

Hi everyone!

I hope you are doing good. I'm here to share some cards that I made recently.

The first one is for 'Paru's Card making challenges'.

To make this card, I cut out a heart from an acetate using a heart die and used the negative piece as a mask for my card.I stamped all the images in different colours.

Here's the mask I used.

The stamp set is called 'Mini Blossoms' from Altenew.

I stamped the same images to make a border for my card. After that was done, added some coloured pencil highlights using my Prisma Coloured pencils.

Stamped sentiment on a piece of white cardstock, trimmed it down and layered it on a small piece of vellum to make it stand out from the busy background. I went over the vellum with clear wink of stella and you could see the result in the below image. I love the shimmery vellum! Randomly went over the flowers with wink of stella to add a bit of sparkle. Also added clear sparkling sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish the card.

Thanks for dropping by!

Hero Arts Fabulous flowers challenge

hey...It's me again... :)

I'm here to post some cards I made for Hero Arts 'Fabulous flowers Challenge'

I made some cards with the help of my MISTI using the Hero Arts old stamp 'Blossom Art' stamp set and their new 'Acts of kindness' and Altenew's newest 'mini blossoms' stamp set.

With the help of MISTI I positioned the images and stamped on all the card and later added details on the solid images for more interest.

The layering paper was also from Hero Arts but I couldn't find it on their website...Guess it has been discontinued.

Hope you like these.
Have a great day!

Winnie and walter's challenges

Hi everyone!

A super quick post to submit cards I made recently to submit to some awesome challenges...

The first is for Winnie and Walter.

I made 3 cards to enter three challenges for Winnie and Walter's 2nd birthday challenges.

First is for Vanessa's Rainbow challenge. I made a small video for this card and I hope to post it soon...both the pattern on the background and the rainbow panel were made with zig markers.

The die cut is from  'The big, the bold and the happy' cutaways

The next card is for Heather's water colouring and gold challenge.

I water washed some colours in the background, stamped the image on vellum, fussy cut it and pasted on the water coloured panel. I die cut the 'happy' from 'The big, the bold and the happy' cutaways from a gold mirror cardstock, I also stamped smaller images from the same stamp set the image was from- 'Picture Perfect'

The last card is for Lydia's floral challenge... and Gayatri's 'Create your own background' challenge.

I stamped repeatedly images from Winnie and Walter's Bang Flurries stamp set an also from 'Big Bang Bling.'

Heat embossed the sentiment from Altenew and put some gold string behind the sentiment label.

That is all for today... thanks for stopping by.. :)

Beautiful day

Hi everyone!

Super quick post to share a card I made for Runway Inspired Challenge...

Here's the inspiration picture...

For my card, I chose same colors as in the inspiration picture..

I used Altenew's Beautiful Day stamp set . I stamped the outline image of the leaves image randomly on the card base and colored them in partially using Prisma Colored pencils and blended with gamsol. Then stamped the second layer of the leaves.

For the flower, I stamped the outline image ans colored with Prisma colored pencils. I went over the outline with the same colored pencil that was used to color the image to make it look bold. Stamped some solid leaves images and fussy cut them out and assembled the card.

Thanks for visiting me today

Wish you the most beautiful day...

all about flowers_ Paper smooches challenge

hello everyone!

Happy Monday morning! :)

A very quick post to share a card I made for Paper Smooches Monthly challenge...

The theme is 'flowers' and their inspiration picture really got me going.

I used their Blossoming Buds stamp set and the sentiment was stamped from the same set. I used the no line water coloring technique to color these images and I must say it was super fun doing it. I adhered  the panel on a card base where i inked up some bold black stripes. Added some washi tape to finish the card.

Hope you like it..

Have a nice day..

Just a note! for RIC #97

Hello everyone!

I can't believe I'm finally doing this post! I thought I would never make it. :)

The card that I'm going to share made me quite happy as it turned out like I wanted it to.. But my original idea was to use four flowers and a lace trim which didn't happen. They just didn't fit in there.

I made this card for Runway Inspired Challenge. I just couldn't ignore the picture inspiration as the colors were so striking.

I used my new 'Lacy Scrolls' stamp set from Altenew. At first, I wasn't sure about it as I was not good with solid image stamps. But I tried and loved how the card turned out...

I stamped the images in distress inks and then went over the images with a shade darker inks. bI fussy cut the flowers. Then came the real challenge- the leaves. I couldn't make green leaves as there is no green color in the inspiration picture. I had to incorporate some color that's present in the picture and make sure those colors don't dominate the flowers. So I used gray from the floor and the sky blue from the backdrop.

The sentiment is from Altenew's Fresh Freesia stamp set. Finished the card with some pretty Pretty Pink Posh's sequins.

I hope you like the card...

Thanks for visiting!
