Hi everyone!
I think I'm going to post regularly from now onwards! ;)
I made this shabby chic card and box set for Crafters Corner's challenge inspiration.
Here it is...
For the first time, I tried sewing on the card.
I made a box to match with the card. The glittered butterfly has been in my stash for quite a long time, it felt appropriate on the box! :)
This is how the box looks...
Closer look of the glittered butterfly...
Nothing much to say about the card...
A big thanks to my friend Hussena who sent some beautiful crochet lace and pearl head pins...
My card was inspired by Hussena's and Pallavi's creations. They make awesome shabby chic projects with many layers that don't seem cluttered at all. However my card is relatively simple with just two layers.
Time for a confession- I loved this card and box set! :-p
Supplies used-
PP for the card- Fairy rhymes 6x6 paper pad- Colour conceptions store
PP for the box- Nupur
Flowers- Maninder.
Sentiment- Inspired By Stamping Store.
Leaves- Crafters Corner
Entering DCAM challenge- Shabby is chic
Also entering IBSI challenge. Actually I have made this card based on these colors and forgot to link it up at IBS! :-p
Also linking up to IBS customer gallery contest for September (http://joannamunster.com/customer-gallery/ ). Used sentiment from Big Notes III set.
