Happy Bird-day

Hello everybody

A very simple card I made for Paru's Card making Challenge.
The theme for the month of May was Summer.

As soon as I saw the theme I knew what I had to make. Summer, in addition to the horrible heat and delicious ice-creams, brings back the fond memories associated with birdbaths.

As kids my sister and I used to place tubs of water for birds and squirrels that used to rest on the trees in our backyard. It was one of the things I loved to do every single day in summer. It was an absolute treat to watch the birds 'bathing' in the tubs . :)

Here is the card I made. Sorry for the horrible picture. I made this card in the last moment in spite of planning the card at the beginning of the month! Since there was no sunlight by the time I finished making it, I had to make do with this bad picture for there was no time to enter.

I used MFT's 'I'm tweet on you' stamp set and did some no-line colouring.

ETA-
I took a good picture of the card now... so here it is

Thanks for stopping by!
