Love

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all doing well. I was too occupied to post for the past few days. 

I have been doing a lot of colouring practise though. I bought a few adorable digital stamps from Elena Roussakis's Etsy store recently. They are so cute! This image is just one of them. 

I'm submitting this card to Paru's cardmaking challenges. The theme is 'Love'. 

Here is my card. I just love that image that resembles my 1.5 year old son Agasthya. :) 

This is how made the card.

I printed the digi on a sheet of Strathmore 300 GSM watercolour paper and let it air dry (My printer is an ink jet one.) for a couple of hours to just make sure that the ink doesn't smudge when I watercolour.

Coloured the image with Zig Clean Color real brush markers and coated some parts of the image with Wink of Stella. 

I took a top folding card base of 4.25x5.5 inches and stamped the background from My Favorite Things called 'Bold Diagonals'. 

I fussy cut the image, die cut a piece of vellum to adhere the coloured image, heat embossed the sentiment and adhered everything down.

I coloured a couple of images from a Neat and Tangled stamp set called 'into the woods'. I stamped the background using stamp from MFT stamps, stamped the sentiment from a CAS-ual Fridays stamp set and assembled the card.

You are the swan for me!

Hi everyone!

One of my resolutions for this year was to post frequently on my blog. But it didn't happen this month as I am not at home but at my hometown with very limited supplies. I bought my zig markers, watercolour cardstock and a few stamp to practise colouring.

A couple of days ago I got a very happy mail from my dearest friend Piyu and she had sent me a whole lot of cute stuff! This awesome stamp set is by Avery Elle. Here is my card...

I stamped the image on a piece of watercolour cardstock and coloured it with ZIg Clean Color Real Brush markers. I fussy cut out the image and then took my Brustro black brush pen (water proof) and went around the fussy cut edge to give it a more finished look.

Once the image was ready, I painted the backdrop. I just scribbled a couple of blue markers on a damp watercolour cardstock panel and again went over the whole piece with lots of water. It was very quick and easy.

A super quick post to share a card I made recently using Altenew's 'wild hibiscus' stamp set.

I posted on FB and Instagram and received lovely comments from you all kind people
Just wanted to share here as well.

I was very reluctant to post this at first because I felt the design wasn't right (I still think it is not) but you girls are so awesome! You know how to make a girl happy. :)

Unicorn wishes!

I know I'm a little late but I wish you all a very happy New Year. I'm happy I got time to make a card this week. I made a simple card following the MFT sketch.

Here is my card

I kept my card very simple literally sticking to the sketch. I sponged the background using distress inks and used a white gel pen to mark some stars. Heat embossed the sentiment in white on grey colored cardstock.

Supplies used-
Magical Unicorns by MFT
Black soot, dusty concord, chipped sapphire, salty ocean and tumbled glass distress inks.

Wild hibiscus (card set)

Hello!

Busy enjoying the New Year's Eve? I hope the New Year has pleasant things in store for everyone! 

I have the last set of cards for this year and the first is dedicated to YOU! 

I based these cards on Altenew Challenge inspiration pictures. 

I took inspiration from the below picture for my first card. I kept the card very CAS.

My second card was inspired by this beautiful image.

And here is the last card... I was inspired by the very talented Lydia Evans. Though I am not a fan of purple, her card really made me try this combination of pink and purple.

Magical unicorns

Hello friends,

I hope you are having a great time preparing for the New Year... Are you ready with your list of resolutions for the coming year? I'm definitely not. :) I will do a separate post if I make any resolutions. For now, I have a card to share that I made a couple of weeks ago.

I first stamped the text background with Mama Elephant's 'Cross my heart' stamp set. Then Layered a couple of vellum diecuts to prepare the base for my stamped abd colored images. Aren't those unicorns the cutest? They are from MFT's 'Magical Unicorns' stamp set. 

I hope to see you once more before the New Year.
