XOXO

Hello!

A very quick post to share a card I made for Paper Smooches challenge for February.

I used Paper Smooches Gift tag dies and balloons dies.
First, I sponged some Tumbled glass distress ink onto the card base and stamped the hearts from the 'Bold Buzzwords' stamp set in Memento 'Summer sky'.

I diecut a rounded rectangle from MFT and stamped a backgeound on it with tumbled glass distress ink for some interest. I also diecut a tag from vellum and heart balloons in red colored cardstock. I diecut some stems from stitched florals die set from MFT and adhered everything on the vellum tag. Stamped the sentiment and popped it up with some foam tape.

Can you see the shimmer on the balloons? :)

I hope you like the card.

See you soon.

Take care...

Deers in love!

Hi everyone!

I made a card for 'Little Tangles' and 'Paru's card making challenges' challenges.

Here is the card I made

The deer on the right is the original image. I mirror stamped it to get the deer to the left. I followed the tutorial by Jennifer McGuire to mirror stamp images using MISTI. She made it look so easy but honestly I had to do a lot of practise to mirror stamp a decent image. I had to try on different papers too. But i finallt ffound a way to get a decent mirror stamped image.

Here is the close up.

I shot a small video showing the process and my trials with different inks and papers. Will edit it and upload soon.

The Little Tangles challenge requires the use of die cuts on the project for the challenge. I have used rectangle stitched dies abd landscape dies from my stash.

Hope you likd the card.

See you soon again!

Sindhu.

Valentine wishes

Hi! It's me again! Just wanted to share a couple more cards I made for the Paru's card making challenges.

Both the cards here use digital stamps from JustMEprints. For the first card, I just colored, die cut the stitched panel and layered it on a patterned paper that I had been hoarding for the past 4.5 years!! (I'm not lying!!) :) I couldn't use it on any card as it was too pretty to be used! But I finally decided that it was time I let go of it for the sake of a cute card! :D

For the second card, I die cut a tag and sponged some distress inks to make it look like an evening sky. I also die cut another tag and die cut it at the bottom with a landscape die and sponged some blue distress inks on it and adhered on the tag with evening sky with a foam tape. Then, I adhered the coloured and fussy cut image. I added flowers because i needed to hide a small ink smudge.

Heat embossed a sentiment and tied twine to the tag.

That finishes the posts for today, folks! See you again! Bye!

Weather together

Hi everyone!

How are you all doing? I want to share a couple of cards I made a couple of days ago.

The first card is for Paru's card Making Challenges .

To make this card, I printed out a few digital stamps that I wanted to colour on a sheet of A4 watercolor cardstock. I coloured the image from JustMEprints. It is the store owned by Elena Roussakis who also illustrates for Neat and Tangled. I'm a h7ge fan of her work. I was very excited when she released a few digis for Valentines Day. The girl holding the umbrella was one of those I bought. I coloured the digi and die cut out the panel.

For the next card, I printed out a freebie from Uniko studio and coloured it and layered the diecut panels on the base. I just had to colour the gorgeous floral image!

That's all for this post. Will post more cards in the next blogpost. Thanks for visiting!

Bye!

You make my life magical

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a card that I made for the MFT sketch challenge.
MFT sketch challenge and Paru's card making challenge.

Here is the sketch-

This is the card I made-

I sponged blue dye ink on just the middle portion of a panel measuring 3.75"x5". I then just assbles the card together. Coloured the image and fussy cut it. Stamped the sentiment on a neutral colored cardstock in black. Stamped the diagonal pattern on a scrap piece of cardstock and trimmed it down to small thin strip to place it under the sentiment strip.

I actually didn't follow the sketch literally this time but followed it loosely by using puffy clouds which form a semi circle. I also left a part of the cloud hanging off the edge.

Hope you like the card.

Thanks for visiting!

smile!

Hey!

Wanted to share a card I made for MFT color challenge- 62

Here is my card-

The stamped images and the die cuts have a lot of shimmer on them. I couldn't capture it in the picture.

It is a very simple card but the colour combination was tough.

This is how I made the card-
1. I stamped the background using two inks. I let them overlap.
2. I cut out a stitched panel using the edge dies.
3. Stamped and fussy cut out the flowers and arranged all the elements on to a card base.
4. Finally, die cut the sentiment and adhered it in place.
5. I felt the card needed something more. So, added lot of wink of stella on the images and the sentiment.

Hope you like the card.

Supplies used-
MFT flashy florals stamp set
MFT basic stitched edges dies
MFT lined up dots cling background stamp
MFT sending hugs die set
Altenew and hero arts inks.

shadow florals card set

Hello everyone!

I'm back with a post with some Altenew gorgeousness! As soon as I saw the picture, I knew it was going to be tough because I'm so bad with hot pink.

I made three cards for the Altenew February Inspiration challenge. All the three are on similar with different designs.

Here is the first card-

I stamped a text background with the sentiment in the 'Floral Shadows' stamp set and filled in the spaces with a beautiful sentiment from 'You are' set. Stamped a background diagonal stamp from MFT stamps in black as I could see black in the inspiration picture. I also die cut a scalloped panel to adhere my stamped flowers and to stamp a sentiment. I felt that the flower centers needed something, so, added some enamel accents.

For the second card, I stamped a floral background using the same stamp set. This time too, I stamped a diagonal border and heat embossed the sentiment on die cut scalloped vellum strip on which the images were arranged.

The last card is pretty CAS and I love how it turned out! I hope you can see the pale yellow pattern on the bottom half of the card.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this card set...

There is a lot of 'Wink of Stella' shimmer on the stamped images.

I hope you like the cards. :)

See you soon!

Love

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all doing well. I was too occupied to post for the past few days.

I have been doing a lot of colouring practise though. I bought a few adorable digital stamps from Elena Roussakis's Etsy store recently. They are so cute! This image is just one of them.

I'm submitting this card to Paru's cardmaking challenges. The theme is 'Love'.

Here is my card. I just love that image that resembles my 1.5 year old son Agasthya. :)

This is how made the card.

I printed the digi on a sheet of Strathmore 300 GSM watercolour paper and let it air dry (My printer is an ink jet one.) for a couple of hours to just make sure that the ink doesn't smudge when I watercolour.

Coloured the image with Zig Clean Color real brush markers and coated some parts of the image with Wink of Stella.

I took a top folding card base of 4.25x5.5 inches and stamped the background from My Favorite Things called 'Bold Diagonals'.

I fussy cut the image, die cut a piece of vellum to adhere the coloured image, heat embossed the sentiment and adhered everything down.

I hope you like the card. See you soon with another one.

Take care.
