Rainbow inking

Hi everyone!

I have a couple of rainbow cards to share with you that I made recently for Little Tangles challenge.

Here is my card. This is a very easy yet pretty one. I love how the colours blended. I used a stencil from MFT.

The gorgeous, bold sentiment designed by Danielle Walls (Neat and Tangled's owner) stole my heart as soon as I saw it! I had to get it. Here, I heat embossed it on a rectangular piece of vellum. The stamp set is called 'So lucky'.

For my next card, I stamped the sentiment in rainbow colours (Not exactly rainbow colours! :)). I took the help of MISTI tool while stamping. I first inked a small upper portion of the stamp in violet. Then I cleaned the inked porrion and inked with the next colour. I made sure that there was an overlap between colours but not completely covering. I repeated till I achieved the look on the card.

I finished the card by adding some minor details to make it more interesting.

Hope you like the cards...

See you soon!

Sindhu.

Thank you for playing with LTCh!:) Lovely cards, both of them! Adding velum on the first one and the stripes in the second are great ideas!

I love this sentiment too and so wish I had it. You've definitely showcased it perfectly with your scalloped rainbow background. And the black really makes it pop too. And your use of the MISTI to help rainbow stamp it again for your second card is such a cool idea. Will have to try this myself when I finally get this stamp. Wonderful to see you again at Little Tangles!!
